Social Traders

A senior leader and project consultant with more than 25 years of experience, Georgina uses her extensive knowledge to support social enterprises through the certification process. Georgina has led a range of business transformation and process improvement projects in organisations across a range of sectors and brings a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving to her work with Social Enterprises tackling social and environmental issues.  She has a long-standing commitment to creating a positive impact in the community.  She is a Director for family services provider, Family Life, and chairs their Social Enterprise Advisory Committee, and is a partner with Social Venture Partners Melbourne.   Georgina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Classical Studies from the University of Melbourne, a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Communications from Monash University and a Masters of Management (Technology) from Melbourne Business School.

Session Title: An Introduction to Social Traders Certification

Session Synopsis: In this session, we will dive into the Social Traders Certification application process. We will cover the broad context, including the social procurement landscape and the role of Social Traders as well as the specifics of the documents and data that are assessed as part of the certification and the (sometimes unexpected) benefits that you may realise through the certification process. You’re encouraged to bring any questions you have along – and we look forward to answering them in this session.
