The Early Ethical Enterprise Pitch Competition is Now OPEN

Calling out for passionate entrepreneurs working on businesses that are designed to make a difference.

• Do you have an idea that you’d focused on turning into a business?

• Does your start-up business have the potential to improve the social, economic, and environmental conditions of a community?

If so, we want to hear from you. We want to hear from ethical businesses and start-ups at the ideation stage or that have been operating for less than 24 months.

The Ethical Entrepreneur Pitch Competition will take place on Monday the 9th of December as part of the Ethical Enterprise Award Dinner. Finalists of the Early Pitch will pitch their ethical start-up or ethical enterprise idea to social entrepreneurial leaders who are influential in the community and who have the mentoring skills and resources to support entrepreneurs or enterprises to make a concept a reality.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE YOUNG TALENT THAT WON THE VARIOUS COMPETITIONS AT THIS YEAR’S RE-GENERATION YOUTH FESTIVAL 2002

We had an amazing time at the inaugural re-generation youth festival last Friday, the day was filled with activities and in the evening young people unleashed their talents onto the main stage. We would like to congratulate Olivia Servello who sang her heart out and took home 1st prize for the best talent, voted by the crowd and Grand Finale Runner Up Elena Konikkos. We also want to congratulate the winners of the start up competition. Kiana Mei who took home the first prize of $500 with her idea of a completely recycled hand made and framed origami butterfly artwork with 100% profits going to the Butterfly Foundation. Second prize of $100 to Sarah Jaza and her idea called Pathway, a platform in the form of a website which provides aid to people struggling with addictions, in particular young people. Both winners will also receive Attendance at the Greenhouse Project Workshop (valued up to $500). A big thank you to the start up sponsors, Nelson Alexander, QWVC and Regen Melbourne. The re-generation international youth film festival was a great success, screening short documentaries and films from young people all over the world, we felt really inspired by the creativity and witnessing our future film makers and directors in person. On the evening we had the pleasure of hearing from Ivy Tucker of Ivy Tucker Films about her award winning short documentary ‘Agricola 7101. The film ended with the Adobe re-generation youth film competition and we are excited to announce that Spensley Street Primary School won the competition with their short film 'The Power of 5'. A big thanks goes to Adobe as the main sponsor; School Broadcasting Network and Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival.
