What we do: WEC is run by Two Square Pegs, a social enterprise building diverse and inclusive local businesses communities. For program participants we provide entrepreneurship training, connection to social capital and support through mentoring as well as networking events. Additionally, we provide access to seed funding to get these ideas off the ground. For the mentors we provide training in enterprise and leadership skills which they can apply immediately as mentors to help make a difference in their communities. WEC is funded by the Department of Family Fairness and housing and supported by the Belgium Avenue Neighbourhood House as well as the City of Yarra.
