Fair Trade has increasingly been Cameron's passion over the last six years, since he took on the role of Development Coordinator of the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand late in 2003. His efforts liaising with fair trade businesses and organisations in Australia and New Zealand have helped to get fairly traded products to ANZ markets, educate consumers, and deliver capacity building activities with producers in developing nations. Cameron's roles have changed as the Fair Trade movement and markets have grown and he now leads a team in Melbourne working to harness trade's power to give farmers and workers in poor communities what they need to tackle poverty.

Susan Long

Events Manager – Law Institute of Victoria
As the Events Manager at the Law Institute of Victoria, the leading membership association for Victorian lawyers, Susan has organised hundreds of events including sold out productions at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Fun Runs for 1000+ participants, panel discussions at various Melbourne festivals, and corporate events featuring prominent speakers from the legal, business and political arena. Susan has also managed the largest membership section at the LIV where she worked with over 70 volunteers to produce a triannual journal, mooting and negotiation competitions, a mentoring program between judges and young lawyers, submissions to government, a monthly newsletter and many events for the membership section. Prior to life at the LIV, Susan worked as a commercial lawyer, focusing on mergers and acquisitions.
In 2009, Susan explored her interest in fairtrade by coordinating the Fair Living tent at the Fair@Square Festival. She thinks that the best part of her job is bringing inspiring people and the knowledge they have, to the public’s attention.

Louise Murphy
Louise Murphy works in Philanthropic services, providing grant research and administration services to various philanthropic clients within Australia. Prior to this role Louise was the National Events Coordinator for World Vision Australia. Louise has staged numerous fair trade and ethical events including speaking tours, gala evenings, art exhibitions and interactive exhibitions all over Australia. Through her first hand experience of working with people living in poverty, Louise has seen the way lives can be transformed when individuals are living under fair trade conditions. Fair Trade not only provides a fair living wage to each worker and put money back into the community but builds a community that is self sustainable comprised of individuals that have purpose and progress. Louise holds a Bachelor of International Studies from Deakin University.

Georgia Garrard
Georgia Garrard is an ecologist at the University of Melbourne. She has a PhD from RMIT which investigated ways in which science can be used to better inform the conservation of threatened species. During her time at RMIT, Georgia taught a number of sustainability orientated subjects, and developed a keen interest in Fair Trade and ethical purchasing. She believes that, by understanding the social, cultural and environmental impacts of products and services, consumers become empowered to make change and can have an important positive impact. Prior to completing her PhD, Georgia worked in environmental consulting and spent some time managing an eco-lodge on Tasmania’s Freycinet Peninsula.

Steve Waldegrave
Steve Waldegrave is a chocoholic and committed foodie. He was shocked to find out that by consuming his beloved snacks and simply wearing certain clothes, he was implicitly supporting child slavery and exploitation of people working overseas. Steve wants to enjoy the good things in life, and do so guilt-free, which is why he helps out with Moral Fairground. Steve is a career public servant who specialises in strategy and policy advice: that is, he provides people advice on how to get things done. Steve has worked as a Deputy Director of the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit, including representing the UK at the OECD. He has also run his own strategy and policy consultancy, Focusmatters. In New Zealand, Steve has worked at the State Services Commission, Department of Child, Youth and Family Services and Ministry of Social Development. He is currently at the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, where he has worked on issues such as health and education reform, and Commonwealth-State relations. As well as helping out with Moral Fairground, Steve is a volunteer for the Victorian State Emergency Services (VICSES). Previously, Steve was the Urgent Action Coordinator for Amnesty International. In his spare time, Steve loves to cook, eat, speak French, practice outdoor survival skills and muck around in the garden.
